Presentation by Greg Lawrence on growing experiences

Greg spoke at length about many facets of his long association with growing bulbs of various types in the Piccadilly area of the upper Adelaide hills.

I expected him to do a "show and tell style presentation, and had decided to run some short video clips to show those who couldn't be at the meeting what Greg was talking about. But Greg is an "Old School" type of chap who believes in the power of words, so he did a very interesting chatty sort of presentation, frequently answering questions from the audience. I decided to let the camera record it all (had to stop at one stage to let the camera cool down) and finished up capturing about an hour of his 75 minute talk.

I'm not going to show you over an hour of Greg's face while he does his thing - you wouldn't believe the size of the file that would need to be downloaded from the web! Instead you get to hear the audio feed from the video that says it all!

Greg covers some very interesting comments on the use of fungicide to combat virus outbreaks, the use of charcoal and sea-grasses in compost, and the effect of incorporating too much rich soil around new plantings that could stunt growth in later life.
Anyway… sit back and enjoy nearly an hour of Greg's presentation!
