Greg Ruckert grows exotic bulbs

Greg Ruckert is a member whose main focus other than Liliums, is geophytes.  He collects and grows aroids and many other rarer and hard to get hold of species.
He has been passionate about plants from a very young age and used to compete in flower shows as a teenager.
His interests are wide ranging and and his collections range from the smallest of bulbs to the largest of trees.
He has been a speaker at international botanical conferences and participated in two botanical expeditions to the China/Burma region.

His attitude to plants is "Why grow what everyone else does when you can grow something different and more interesting?"
