MARCH 1st - Bromeliads with Bev & 2 other members of the Bromeliad Society.
Whether aerial or terrestrial, they will explain the attraction of these often colourful, interesting & adaptable plants.

APRIL 5th - Greg Ruckert & Julian Slade – South African bulbous plants.
Be enthralled & envious looking at landscapes and plants from the separate travels in South Africa of these passionate collectors.

MAY 3rd – Greg Lawrence – growing knowledge.
Have you wondered why Greg presents so many beautifully-grown plants at shows & meetings? It’s more than having the fertile Summertown soil so pick up ideas from this long-time member of the L & B society.

JUNE 7th – Trevor Nottle –
Well-known author, gardener, traveler & tour leader, Trevor will share with us anecdotes of his various activities.

JULY – No meeting.

AUGUST 2nd - Helen McKerrell
Practical, down-to-earth home gardener & author of Gardening on a Shoestring. Helen is a regular column contributor to gardening magazines & dispenses sensible advice to customers at the Crafers Garden Centre.

SEPTEMBER 6th – Greg Ruckert & Julian Slade – more South African bulbous plants.
Encore presentation from these intrepid seed collectors of some of the many fascinating species in South Africa. Can they – and we – ever get enough?

OCTOBER 4th AGM & – Marg Jenkins & Nancye Kopunic – Iris.
Named for Iris, the Greek Goddess of the Rainbow, this genus epitomizes this with a huge & subtle range of gorgeous colours. Learn much from these enthusiastic growers.

NOVEMBER 1st – Joe Romeo* - Begonias – tuberous & cane.
Learn something about the growing & attraction of this genus from an enthusiastic collector.

DECEMBER 2nd or 9th – End of year club gathering & mini-show. Venue TBA
